Welcome race fans, it is time again when all the drivers are busy in their sheds putting the final touches on the chariots of speed in preparation for the upcoming season.

Again the highly successful Modified Production Series is looking like being the pinnacle of racing anywhere in Australia as far as sedan racing is involved.  This season we welcome a new major sponsor in G & W Racing. 

On behalf of the Modified Production Entrants Group we welcome you to the one of the many improvements we are incorporating for the betterment of Modified Production racing in Queensland & Northern New South Wales incorporating a brand new website for everyone to keep up to date with all the action. 

We welcome this season the enormous support of Graham & Wendy Erhart of G & W Racing as the new sponsor of the series.  They have been a huge supporter of Modified Production racing for many years and once again they have shown this with providing this season’s sponsorship of this highly popular series.  This is a major factor in way we have an average of 30 cars at every round of the series. 

Graham & Wendy Erhart have started this business G & W Racing with Peter Lack at the helm to provide the racer with all the parts, tyres & advice on all aspects of racing.  They have an extensive range of tyres, shocks, brake components for the Modified Production racer. 

Trevor & Leslie Rachow of Tracwell Motor Body Builders & Ed Pearson of Hydraulic Drilling Services are continuing their support of the series with their sponsorship.  We have a great array of sponsors new & old who are putting their support behind the series this season. 

This season the series consists of 6 rounds taking in Queensland tracks such as Toowoomba, Maryborough, Kingaroy, Gympie & Brisbane plus the Northern NSW track of Lismore.  Round 1 will be in Toowoomba at Charlton Raceway with the final round being held at Brisbane International Speedway in March. 

The past series winners have been Steve Thomsen, Darrin Shearn & last season’s winner being Michael Hally.  All in all this season is shaping up for some entertaining racing.
