  Another Series wrapped up

Wow what an end to the 5 round G & W Racing Modified Production Series for 2008/2009.  After another great series with over 50 cars participating in one round or another throughout the season it came to an end at Maryborough Speedway on Sunday night the 3rd of May.

It was a typical night of racing for Modified Productions at Maryborough Speedway on Sunday night (May 3rd).  The night filled with spectacular crashes and incredible driving talents from all drivers, but it was high flyer Aidan Raymont who was able to claim the win in the final round of the GW Racing Series.

Former Queensland Champion Aidan Raymont drove a gallant race on Saturday night (7th March) at Charlton Raceway Toowoomba aboard his Cooroy Auto Wreckers Falcon.  Raymont started the 25 lap main event from position ten, driving his way to the front at the fall of the checkers for Round 4 of the GW Racing Modified Production Series

  Worling Takes Series Round Victory

Greg Worling took out the third round of the G & W Racing Modified Production Sedan Series at Lismore Speedway on Saturday night.  Rodney Pammenter filled the runner-up placing while Darren Lester was third.

The 2008/2009 GW Racing Modified Production series went off with a bang on Saturday night (18th October) with the event receiving 27 nominations, which was down on last years count, but still a great field of Modified Productions which produced some fantastic racing.

The Rockhampton Speedway is looking for expressions of interest for a big Modified Production meeting to be staged over the January 24th & 25th long weekend in 2009.  This event will be paying a massive $3000 to win, $2000 for second and $1000 for third.
