Aiden Raymont
crowned QLD champion |

Local and hometown favourite Aiden Raymont has claimed his
first ever QLD Title in Modified Production which was held
at Mothar Mountain Speedway in Gympie, Queensland on the 9th
& 10th June 2007. The event was proudly sponsored by
DEFENCE JOBS. Raymont lead the 40 lap event from start
to finish, and drove his EL Ford Falcon to victory lane.
Gavin Lorensen in the ex Brian Learoyd VX Commodore,
finished a superb second, keeping Raymont honest right on
his tail waiting for a mistake, but it was not to be.

The HDS Modified Production Series for the 2006/2007 season
has come to an end. The 7 rounds have been run over the
last 4 months with rounds being run in Brisbane, Kingaroy,
Gympie, Lismore, Rockhampton, Maryborough & Toowoomba.

Trapp claims honors in the final round |

Robert Trapp drove a sensational race to claim the final
round of the HDS Modified Production Series held at Charlton
Raceway on Saturday 10th March. Over the 25 lap main
event there were four different race leaders, including Todd
Doyle, Shane Langton, Mark Ferguson and Robert Trapp.

Steve Price claimed his first win in the 2006/2007
Queensland HDS Modified Production Series at Maryborough
Speedway on Saturday night. Price started on the front
row for the 30 lap A-main and led the race for most of the
journey while under constant pressure from the New South
Wales champion Michael Hally. |

Modified Production Grand Prix hits
Toowoomba! |

Charlton Raceway in
Toowoomba will be hosting a Modified Production Grand
Prix of QLD. The event will be over two nights
on the 7th & 8th of April 2007, which will be in
con-junction with the annual Super Sedan Grand Prix.
Plenty of prize money will be up for grabs, so stay tuned
for more info as it comes to hand.

Maryborough on the 24th of February.

Greg Raymont continued his strong run in the 2006/2007 HDS
Modified Production Series with a stand out drive in the 35
lap main event. The win may have handed the HDS Series
lead back to Raymont. |

Round five of the HDS
Modified Production Series rolled into Rockhampton, and so
did the rain clouds. The much anticipated round with
$10,000 prize money on offer looked like mother nature may
win, with several showers
passing over the city during the day, but the skies started to clear up come
race time. |

Todd Doyle raced to victory
in his Tracwell sponsored VY Commodore at Round 4 of the HDS
Modified Production Series at the Barter Card Lismore
Speedway. Doyle was under pressure later in the race
from Michael Hally in what was an action packed main event. |

There are
35 drivers nominated for the 4th round of
the HDS
Modified Production Series to be held at Lismore Speedway
this weekend the 6th of January.
It is looking to be another explosive race meeting with
great numbers nominated once again
and the battle to be at the top of the points table has just
begun!

Charlton Raceway 6x6 Shoot-out a

The Modified Production 6x6 Shoot-out was held at Charlton
Raceway on New Years Eve, which was a Holden VS Ford
Challenge. Six locals were invited to take part in the
race, which saw three rounds of two heats. |

in Australia. This may sound like an exaggeration but I ask
you have you ever lined up in a field of 22 cars for a final
knowing how fast you have to drive to keep up with the
locals. |

weekend, Todd Doyle has finished round two with an excellent

With 41 cars nominated for round 1 of the
HDS Modified Productions Series at Archerfield it was always
set to be a huge event with plenty of action. With 3
heats to qualify for the A Main with 14 cars in each heat
the pressure was right on from the 1st heat of
the night. |

Services Modified Production Series is set to get underway
at Brisbane International Speedway on Saturday the 18th
November. Already there is a massive 41 cars nominated

fans, it is that time again when all the drivers are busy in

in preparation for the upcoming season. Again the

being the pinnacle of racing any where in Australia as far as
