Welcome to the new QLD
Modified Production Website
Monday
November 13, 2006.
Welcome race
fans, it is that time again when all the drivers are busy in
their sheds putting the final touches on the chariots of speed
in preparation for the upcoming season.
Again the
highly successful HDS modified production series is looking like
being the pinnacle of racing any where in Australia as far as
sedan racing is involved.
On behalf of
the Modified Production Entrants Group we welcome you to one of
the many improvements we are incorporating for the betterment of
Modified Production racing in Queensland and northern New South
Wales .incorporating a brand new website for everyone to keep up
to date with all the news and action.
Once
again we welcome the enormous support given to us by Ed Pearson
of HDS Hydraulic Drilling Services, as once again he has put his
commitment right behind the series and provided the sponsorship
for the end of season prize money which has to be a major factor
why last season there was an average of 30 cars at every round
of last years series
Tracwell motor
body builders have come on board once again this year upping the
ante even more by waving there magical wand over the box trailer
that they provided for last years 100% prizedraw, turning it
into a fully functioning tandem trailer that will surely be in
every drivers wish list.
Blackburn
performance engines have teamed up with AAA Bribane Tilt Tray Towing and
Rob's Auto Transport to provide the competitors in the B main who have to
call it a early night, a little incentive that will spread the
wealth over the whole field.
This year the
series has been expanded to include 7 rounds taking in nearly
every track in South East
Queensland ranging from Lismore to as far north as Rochampton
and the final winding up in one of Queensland's premier tracks
at Charlton Raceway.
We have had
two series to date, the first one went right down to the last
round where it was a showdown between Steve Thomsen and Greg Raymont, with Thomsen reigning supreme at the fall of the flag.
The second year it was Darren Shearn who limped home in the
final round at Gympie which prove to be one of the best
spectacles ever witnessed at the mountain.
So this year
who will it be????????????????????????????????????????????????? |
