Modified
Production racing in Queensland is booming, and is currently
boasting the biggest fields in the Sunshine State than anywhere
else in Australia. To back that up, a massive field of 45
cars has enlisted for Round two of the G & W Racing Qld Modified
Production Series at Maryborough Speedway this Saturday night
(10th November). The contingency of Drivers is headlined
by current Australian Champion Todd Doyle and Queensland
champion Aiden Raymont.
It seems
these two drivers will be hard to knock off the podium at the
end of the night, with Aiden winning the last Feature race held
at Maryborough, and Doyle winning the "Dash for Cash" held in
June this year. Doyle is also coming off a win at Brisbane
International Speedway last weekend. Doyle and Raymont are
currently first and second respectively in the 2007/2008 G&W
Racing series.

With a
field of 45 cars, there will be plenty of competition and to
pick a winner will be merely impossible. With the likes of Greg
and Mark Raymont, Gavin Lorensen, Mark Ferguson, Steve Price,
Rodney Pammenter, Shane Macdonald and Greg Worling, there will
be plenty of door to door tin top action at Maryborough Speedway
this Saturday night.
The
venue is the host of the 2008 Australian Modified Production
Championship being held over Easter, and many drivers all over
Queensland are gearing up to give the title "a fair crack".
45 cars for a round of the Queensland Series, how many will we
see for the Australian Title................?
One
thing is for sure, who ever wins Round 2 of the G&W Racing QLD
Modified Production Series on Saturday night, won't have it
easy.
Make
sure your there to see the most exciting class in Speedway, as
the Modified's turn up the heat under the Saturday Night
lights..........
